The Temple
The First Goddess Festival in Budapest was a life-changing experience for many of us. We remembered Her, the Great Goddess and we honoured Her as She was once honoured in the Carpathian Basin. We danced and sang for Her and She showed Her Shining. Loving Face in the tears and smiles of the others.
The seed was sowed in this sacred earth and in our hearts, and now it is growing and with it the dream of the Goddess Temple in Budapest is manifesting.
At Autumn Equinox in 2006 the Goddess Temple was opened with a special ceremony and was dedicated to the Goddess in all Her forms, but especially to Danu and the other Goddesses once known and loved in the Carpathian Basin.
The Goddess Temple is a Sacred Place, where we can meet the Goddess and experience Her healing love. In this peaceful environment we can stop for a silent minute to meditate, to rest and to reconnect with our soul.
